Blightlands

An ongoing OSR-style campaign with my long-time gaming group. This campaign takes place in a homegrown world that is dangerous, magical, and full of threats.

Rules

We are playing with Adventurer Conqueror King and you can find the SRD here.

Creating Characters

We'll follow the basic rules for character creation. Roll 3d6 in order, pick a class from the SRD or Companion. Roll HP, buy starting gear.

All characters start at 1st level. You can spend gold frivolously to bank 90% of its value for your next character's XP.

You may also take over a 0th level Henchman if one is available.

Henchman and Extra Characters

Hired henchmen receive a half share of XP. In dicey situations a Morale roll will decide if they participate or not.

You may hire your 2nd character as a henchman, but at the increased cost of being a 1st level specialist. They will still make morale rolls and are not eligible for using reserved XP.

If the group decides its okay you may play multiple characters at once, but they will receive a full share of treasure and XP.

The Setting

The game takes place in a large region that is the Principality of Baelorn. The adventure starts in Ashborne.
